A high standard of personal appearance is expected of all students and anyone arriving at school in non-uniform clothing may expect to be sent home to get changed.

 

Hairstyles must be appropriate for school.  Mohican styles, completely shaven heads and braiding are not allowed.  Mixes of natural hair colour are permitted but unnatural hair colours e.g. blue, red, green, pink, lilac etc. are not allowed.

 

Jewellery is restricted to a single pair of stud earrings, one plain ring, and a watch.  Facial or tongue jewellery is not permitted.

 

Coats and other outdoor clothing may not be worn inside school buildings.  

 

All pupils are expected to wear our school uniform, as detailed below.

Year 7-11 Uniform

Boys

Navy V-necked sweatshirt with school badge.

 

Pale blue shirt with school tie.

 

Dark grey or black trousers -not canvas, cord, linen or denim. No ankle tight or skinny style.

 

Navy/grey/white socks.


Dark outdoor jacket.


Dark sensible school shoes. 

 

P.E And GAMES KIT (Various Activities)

 

White shorts, T-shirt and socks.

 

Rugby/soccer boots; Training shoes; Rugby shirt and socks– navy and sky blue reversible; Rugby shorts – black, Rugby socks - navy and sky blue hoops. 

 

NB - Training shoes are not acceptable.

Girls

Navy V-necked sweatshirt with school badge.

 

Pale blue shirt with school tie.

 

Plain navy/black skirt.


Plain black trousers - not canvas, cord, linen

or denim. No ankle tight or skinny style.

 

Navy/white socks or opaque tights.

 

Dark outdoor jacket.


Dark sensible flat shoes.

 

P.E And GAMES KIT (Various Activities)

 

Navy games skirt; white polo shirt; Black/navy

leggings; Navy athletic shorts; Training shoes.

 

NB - Training shoes are not acceptable.

Alternative items which may be purchased at an additional cost:-

 

Navy V-necked jumper with school badge, or navy knitted zipped cardigan with school badge. The wearing of training shoes for gymnastics is not encouraged except in exceptional circumstances (i.e. medical problems).

 

In the interest of personal safety both boys and girls must remove all jewelry during P.E. and Games lessons. 

Sixth Form Uniform

Boys

Black V-necked sweatshirts with school badge.

 

White shirt with school tie or white polo shirt with school badge.

 

Plain black/dark grey trousers-not canvas, cord or linen.

 

Dark socks.

 

Dark sensible shoes.

 

Dark outdoor jacket.

Girls

Black V-necked sweatshirts with school badge.

 

White shirt with school tie or white polo shirt with school badge.

 

Plain black/dark grey trousers-not canvas, cord or linen.

 

Plain navy/black skirt.

 

White socks or opaque tights.

 

Dark outdoor jacket.

Navy V-necked knitted jumper with school badge, or navy knitted zipped cardigan with school badge. Black blazer with school badge.

 

Sixth Formers are subject to the same rules about jewellery, make up, hairstyles and hair colours as the rest of the school.
